Clever and practical construction benefits are achieved from the lower weight of this floor topping when compared to other cement based toppings and tiles.
An ideal choice for areas of high pedestrian traffic where appearance, and ease of cleaning are important. Suited to floor areas in quality buildings where designers and owners wish to distinguish their premises from others.
Architectural Terrazzite is used in retail shopping centres and malls, supermarkets, airports, hotels and office foyers, restaurants, service and feature areas, residences and apartments.
Durable - strong resin matrix abrasion resistance 4 times that of concrete.
Design - total freedom of patterns, logos and colour division of patterns with aluminium, stainless steel or brass strips.
Colour - variations from tinting of resins and blending of natural marbles.
Lightweight - relatively lightweight and thin profile, approx 6mm gives practical advantages in multi- storey design.
Resistant - marble resin floors are resistant to damage.
